Description:

Region VII of the Office of Mental Health is located in the northwest portion of Louisiana and includes 9 parishes in its catchment area: Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Red River and Sabine. There are full time mental health outpatient clinics in Caddo-Bossier, DeSoto, Natchitoches, Sabine, Red River and Webster parishes.

Regional administrative staff is located in the Caddo-Bossier clinic (Shreveport Mental Health Center.) Services are provided to serious and persistent mentally ill adults age 18 and older and to seriously emotionally or behaviorally impaired youth under the age of 18.

Sliding scale methods are accepted. We also accept Insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, Credit card, Cash and Checks.

Eligibility:

You must be a emotionally, behaviorally, or chronically disabled youth. Also mentally ill adults are eligible.
