Description:

Provides low-cost option for home Internet service to households receiving SNAP (Food Stamps) and where wireline home Internet services offered. Includes Wi-Fi!€“capability for wireless access.

Service includes monthly data allowance (either 150GB of data per month or 250GB of data per month) depending on the type and speed of service offered.

Intake Process:

- Online application
- After completion, submit form online or by email
- You may also print the form and send by fax or mail
- Letter of approval or denial will be mailed or emailed to you within 5 to 7 business days after application is processed

If Approved:
AT&T will send self-installation kit with simple step-by-step instructions, to complete installation process yourself.
In most cases, customers can complete installation process themselves. If additional help after attempting self-installation, may request a technician (at no charge) to assist by calling toll free number.

Program Fees:

No installation or modem fees; No contract commitment.

There are three possible program speed tiers. Service availability and speed may vary by address. AT&T will assign the fastest of these speed tiers available where you live:
--10 megabits per second, for $10 per month**
--5 megabits per second, for $10 per month
--3 megabits per second, for $5 per month

If none of above speeds are available at your address, participation in program will not be available.


If monthly data plan allowance exceeded, will be automatically charged $10 for each 50GB of data usage in excess of your data plan, even if less than 50 gigabytes is used.

Clients should check their data usage regularly at: att.com/internet-usage to avoid overage charges.

Eligibility:

1. At least one person in your household must be participant in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP / Food Stamp);

2. Must live in Louisiana where AT&T provides wireline home Internet service ("Wireline home Internet service" refers to AT&T's wireline Broadband Internet Access Service, which is delivered to a fixed location over a physical wire or cable); and

3. At least one of the Access from AT&T Internet speed tiers must be available at address where you live.
