Description:

Federal Student Aid, a part of the U.S. Department of Education, is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation. At the office of Federal Student Aid, our employees help make college education possible for every dedicated mind by providing federal grants, loans, and work-study funds each year to more than 13 million students paying for college or career school. We are proud to sponsor millions of American minds pursuing their educational dreams.


Completing and submitting the FAFSA is free and quick, and it gives you access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college or career school.

In addition, many states and colleges use your FAFSA data to determine your eligibility for state and school aid, and some private financial aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid.

Hours:

EST/Monday-Friday 8:00am-11:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm; Sudnay 12:00pm-6:00pm; EST /We will be closed on federal holidays except Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday and Washington's Birthday. When January 1 falls on a weekday, we will be open from 9:00am!€“6:00pm . We will be closed on the day after Thanksgiving and on December 24th when it falls on a weekday.

Our general eligibility requirements include that you have financial need, are a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen, be enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program at your college or career school, and more.
Make sure you!€™re familiar with our basic eligibility criteria, and you can also ask a college financial aid office if you have any questions about whether you qualify.
