Focused Intervention thru Sanctions & Treatment / F.I.S.T

Description:

Special adult court designed to handle cases involving less serious drug-using offenders through a supervision and treatment program.

The program is designed to be completed in 24 months and includes frequent drug-testing, case management, intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment services, educational opportunities, judicial supervision and incremental rewards and punishment.

Hours:

M-F, 8A-5P

Intake Process:

Call the office and request to be screened for entry into the program.

Program Fees:

Case Managers complete budget and payment plan upon admission and fees are set in accordance with the plan.

Eligibility:

1. All offenders who are admitted to the 15th JDC FIST Drug Court program


2. Non-violent probation eligible defendants convicted of felony drug charges and other non-violent criminal offenses that occurred while defendants were involved in or stemming from substance abuse.
