Description:

CARC Treasure Chest is a thrift store designed to increase work opportunities for the people we serve. CARC has provided work opportunities in our vocational programs from teaching social skills and pre-employment training all the way to supported work in the community.

The Treasure Chest is yet another way to provide more opportunities for employment training while still providing the supervision and support that CARC provides in our other workshops. Training is for CARC (Calcasieu-Lake Charles Association for Retarded Children) registered people ONLY. Job training is a secondary service provided to those who are with CARC. The Thrift Store is the SITE where the training takes place.

Donation stations are located at each Treasure Chest store, Iowa Outlet Mall and at CARC!€™s main office located on Legion Street.
